Dr. Amanda Elpers is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist dedicated to delivering exceptional care to her patients in Las Vegas. A magna cum laude graduate and Phi Beta Kappa Academic Honor Society member, Dr. Elpers has earned recognition for her academic achievements and clinical excellence. She is the recipient of the TUSDM Alumni Clinical Excellence Award in General Dentistry and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Chapter Award. Dr. Elpers is an active member of professional associations such as the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry, demonstrating her commitment to advancing dental care and education.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Dr. Elpers is deeply involved in volunteer and service initiatives, including Smile Generation Serve Day, Special Olympics, and Autism Speaks. She believes in giving back to her community and making a positive impact on the lives of others through her dental expertise.

Dr. Cale Forgues is not just an orthodontist; he’s a vibrant personality who infuses energy into our practice. Originally from Ottawa, Canada, he ventured to the U.S. in 2006, embracing a diverse cultural background. 

Dr. Forgues is an advocate for the transformative power of orthodontics. As a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association, he brings a fresh outlook to the field. Dr. Forgues holds a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and a Masters Degree in Oral Biology with a Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Nevada.

Dr. Forgues has always been a sports enthusiast, excelling in hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and squash during his formative years. His commitment to sports extended to college, where he secured scholarships for both lacrosse and squash, ultimately achieving a commendable country ranking in squash.

His outgoing personality and relatability make him a valuable asset to our office. He not only crafts beautiful smiles but also engages with patients, fostering an environment of excitement about their orthodontic journey. 

Outside the office, Dr. Forgues enjoys embracing nature through golfing, hiking, and spending quality time with his three energetic Vizslas in Henderson, NV. 

Credentials:

Dr. Christian Lepure, an accomplished endodontist at Edge Dental and Orthodontics, is proud to call El Paso, Texas, his hometown. His journey into dentistry was motivated by a desire to help people in pain and to tackle the challenges the profession presents both personally and professionally. Dr. Lepure’s dedication to his patients and his passion for endodontics have made him a valued member of his community.

Dr. Lepure received his DDS degree from Texas A&M School of Dentistry, where he also completed his Endodontics residency. His comprehensive education and training have equipped him with the skills necessary to perform complex endodontic treatments with precision and care. He is particularly passionate about changing patients’ perceptions of root canals, ensuring they have a positive and comfortable experience.

The best part of Dr. Lepure’s job is taking care of patients and alleviating their pain. He finds immense satisfaction in helping patients overcome their dental fears and misconceptions. His positive attitude and sense of humor contribute significantly to a reassuring and friendly environment for his patients.

Outside the office, Dr. Lepure loves spending quality time with his family. He and his wife enjoy traveling and discovering new restaurants with their daughter, embracing the joy of exploring new cultures and cuisines. Dr. Lepure’s commitment to positivity and laughter extends beyond his professional life, enriching his personal experiences and relationships.

Dr. David Raper is a highly skilled Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his practice. Born and raised in the Midwest, Dr. Raper’s commitment to transforming smiles and changing lives is evident in every surgery he performs. He is dual board-certified, holding credentials as a Diplomate of both the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Raper’s journey in oral surgery began at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry, followed by advanced training in the San Antonio Military Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Program. His military service provided him with unique experiences and skills, working alongside the Air Force, Army, and Navy, which have greatly contributed to his expertise and compassionate approach.

What sets Dr. Raper apart is his calm, caring nature, and his willingness to listen to his patients. He believes that the best part of his job is the opportunity to meet new and exciting people every day. His approach ensures that every patient feels heard and comfortable, making their experience as positive as possible.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Raper loves spending time outdoors with his family. Whether hiking, off-roading, or boating, he embraces every opportunity for adventure and fun. As an Air Force veteran, he brings a unique perspective and dedication to his work, always striving to make people’s lives better through his surgical expertise.

Dr. Wonkyu Seo’s journey in dentistry began when he attended Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO. He completed his doctorate in dental at New York University’s College of Dentistry in New York City — a school ranked #5 on SCImago Institutions Rankings’ of dental schools in the country.

Once he had the necessary tools and education under his belt, he began practicing as a general dentist in 2018. Throughout this career, Dr. Seo has placed making patients feel like family as his top priority. By creating special bonds, Dr. Seo can better diagnose and treat patients while giving you the advice you need for success.

Dr. Seo is a sports fanatic, particularly cheering for the LA Rams and LA Dodgers, though he’s never been a resident of the area. Sports and his dental career don’t compare to his love for his wife, though, whom he spends a great deal of time with when he’s not practicing dentistry. We can’t forget to mention the joy he gets when spending time with his Maltese pooch, Doobu!

Credentials:

Dr. Marwa Abulhasan was born and raised in Kuwait, the only daughter in a family of three brothers. Her upbringing was rooted in values of self-respect, determination, and the importance of family. These principles guided her to pursue her goals with passion and integrity, ultimately leading her to a fulfilling career in periodontics.

Dr. Abulhasan‘s journey into dentistry began at the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2003 and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2006. She further specialized by completing a Certificate in Periodontology and a Master’s in Craniofacial Biology at the University of Southern California in 2012. Her drive for excellence in healthcare also led her to earn a Master of Medical Management in 2019.

As a periodontist, Dr. Abulhasan is passionate about her work, particularly the hands-on nature of the job and the opportunity to provide instant relief and satisfaction to her patients. She values the connections she builds with her patients, finding joy in helping others and interacting with them on a personal level. Known for her calm demeanor and attentive listening skills, Dr. Abulhasan creates a comfortable environment for her patients, ensuring they feel heard and cared for during their visits.

When she’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Abulhasan enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends, soaking in the beauty of nature. She’s an avid traveler, always eager to learn from the world around her, and relishes any downtime she can find. An adventurous spirit, Dr. Abulhasan has a goal of learning to fly a plane one day, embodying the phrase “My Way” by Frank Sinatra, which she considers the theme song of her life.

Education, Credentials & Memberships:

Graduating with an associate degree from Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Aux in 2020, alongside a social work degree in 2017.

Dunia’s commitment to oral health is unwavering. Her motivation to become a Dental Hygienist springs from a desire to combat oral infections, spread awareness about gum disease, and emphasize its impact on overall well-being.

With a spirit of exploration, one of her bucket list dreams is to visit Petra in Jordan, one of the world’s wonders. Embracing the words of Marcus Garvey, she lives by the quote, “With confidence, you have won before you even started.”

Credentials:

Preston has been a registered dental hygienist since 2018 and is a United States combat veteran. Prior to hygiene school, he served in the Air Force for six years, followed by the Air National Guard for six years.

On his days off, he loves to explore Las Vegas and its food and drink scene, grill out, and watch the game (Bear Down!) or horror films at his house. He also loves listening to podcasts and traveling as much as possible. In addition, Preston is a tiki enthusiast who is always trying to master the classic cocktails.
